Discover the natural beauty of Munnar with visits to Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake and Echo Point, along with scenic drives through picturesque tea plantations. You may also visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, subject to seasonal closures and availability. Continue to Thekkady, renowned for its spice plantations and wildlife surroundings. Enjoy optional experiences such as a boat ride on Periyar Lake, a guided spice plantation visit, traditional Kathakali performances and Kalaripayattu, Kerala’s famous martial art. Other activities may be available at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Proceed to Alappuzha for a memorable overnight stay aboard a traditional Kerala houseboat. Cruise through the beautiful backwaters, passing serene canals, lush paddy fields and charming village landscapes. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and onboard hospitality, with lunch, dinner, evening tea with snacks and the following morning’s breakfast included as specified in the package.

After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and transfer to Cochin Airport or Railway Station according to your departure schedule, bringing your memorable Kerala journey to an end. This package offers a wonderful blend of waterfalls, hill stations, tea plantations, wildlife, spice gardens and tranquil backwater experiences.

Inclusions

Exclusions

• Flight, train and bus tickets unless specifically mentioned.

• Entrance fees, camera fees and guide charges unless specifically included.

• Portage, tips, insurance, mineral water, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, telephone charges and personal expenses.

• Additional vehicle usage not mentioned in the itinerary.

• Expenses arising from natural calamities, political protests or other unforeseen events.

• Additional costs resulting from increases in taxes or fuel prices affecting transportation and land arrangements.

• Anything not specifically mentioned under Inclusions.

Optional Add-ons

• Upgrade from a Deluxe houseboat to Premium or Luxury category at an additional cost.

• Upgrade to a higher-category vehicle by paying the price difference.

• Entrance tickets for optional activities can be arranged upon request and advance payment.

Payment Policy

• 25% of the total package cost is required to confirm hotel bookings.

• An additional 25% must be paid on or before 30 days before the travel date.

• The remaining balance must be settled by check-in on Day 1.

Cancellation Policy

• All cancellation requests must be submitted by email.

• 30 days or more before departure: Full refund.

• 21–29 days before departure: 75% of the package amount will be charged.

• 16–20 days before departure: 50% of the package amount will be charged.

• 8–15 days before departure: 25% of the package amount will be charged.

• Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.

General Notes

• The itinerary is a general outline and may change due to weather, road conditions or passenger well-being.

• Rates apply to the specified passenger count, travel dates, hotels and meal plans mentioned in the quotation.

• Changes to passenger numbers, travel dates or accommodation requirements may affect the package cost.

• Hotels are subject to availability at the time of booking.

• No reservations are confirmed until the booking is completed and confirmation is provided.

Accommodation

• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and hotel policies; additional charges may apply.

• Some hotels provide extra beds in the form of mattresses.

• Additional beds on houseboats are provided exclusively as mattresses.

Vehicle Policy

• Vehicles are provided for inter-destination transfers and sightseeing as specified in the itinerary.

• Vehicles are air-conditioned; however, air conditioning may not operate at certain hill-station destinations.

• Additional vehicle usage beyond the agreed itinerary may incur extra charges.

Insurance & Personal Belongings

• Travel insurance is not included. Guests are advised to arrange suitable insurance before travelling.

• Guests are responsible for their baggage and personal belongings throughout the tour.

• Mayoora Holidays is not responsible for loss or theft of personal property.

Punctuality & Refund Policy

• Guests must follow the specified timings for transfers and sightseeing.

• No refund will be provided for any part of the tour missed due to a guest's delay.

Travel Tips

• Carry valid photo identification and address proof for hotel check-in.

• Indian nationals may carry a Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID or Aadhaar Card.

• Foreign nationals must carry a valid Passport and Visa.

Houseboat Guidelines

• Check-in: 12:00 noon.

• Check-out: 9:00 AM the following day.

• Plan your arrival and departure considering travel time and possible delays.

• Deluxe houseboat: Air conditioning operates from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

• Premium and Luxury houseboats: Air conditioning is available from check-in to check-out.

• Premium houseboats feature partial glass coverage, while Luxury houseboats are fully glass-covered.

• Houseboats are not permitted to cruise after evening hours, as per government regulations.

• The standard houseboat menu is non-vegetarian.
